Ethical priorities for neurotechnologies and AI

Alberto Carrara. In a more recent comment on Nature journal, neuroscientists and bioethicists (neurobioethicists) call for regulations and ethical guidelines in developing and applying neurotechnologies and artificial intelligence programs (Nature 551, Nov 9 2017, 159-163). Four are the main areas of interest and threat: 1. individual privacy 2. personal identity 3. autonomy or agency and 4. equality (potential for social inequalities). Read more here.
