Posthumanism and Neuroethics at the 24th World Philosophy Congress 2018 in Beijing, China



The 24th World Philosophy Congress (WPC2018) will take place in Beijing from 12 to 20 August. The session n. 46 will concern the themes of posthumanism and neuroethics, it will be chaired by the vice-President of FISP (Fédération Internationale des Sociétés de Philosophie) Lourdes Velázquez, and will be composed by Rector Pedro Barrajón of the Università Europea di Roma, Chair Fellow Alberto Carrara, and Alex Yung Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum (Rome).
“The World Congress of Philosophy is organized every five years by the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP) in collaboration with one of its member societies. The complementary aims of the 2018 Congress include an emphasis on exploring dimensions of the human and inquiring into the challenges facing humanity
